About Me As a mom of a dyslexic child, I made it my mission to learn everything I could about dyslexia. My purpose in life became advocating for my child and remediating this disability. With consistent use of the Barton Reading and Spelling system, we have done so. Now, I'm offering my services to other parents who are in the same place I was in not too long ago. There are several systems that claim to remediate dyslexia but none are as good as Barton Reading and Spelling. Experience I began tutoring my own child more than 3 years ago. I've made it my personal mission to relentlessly pursue continued education and training in dyslexia and Orton-Gillingham. Barton Reading and Spelling was designed with the purpose of creating new tutors to go out and help the 1 in 5 students who struggle so deeply. Tutoring isn't a job, it's a passion.
